1.  The 29 Palms Community Food Pantry & Outreach Ministries, Inc. serves, the communities of 29 Palms, the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, and Wonder Valley.  We are to feed those who request assistance, without restriction one time per month.  In order to accomplish our "mission", we use a network of resources (monetary, food suppliers, personnel and spiritual).

2.  Documents required for service are:  picture ID for the neighbor requesting assistance, social security cards for everyone being claimed in the family and proof of residency for the 29 Palms - 92277/92278 area.

3.  Our "mission" is to:

(a)  Be open the following days and times:

• Monday through Friday from 9:30am - 11:30am
• Wednesday evenings of the 2nd & 4th week from 5:00pm - 6:30pm
• 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month from 9:30am - 11:00am

(b)  Provide emergency assistance (both nutritionally and spiritually) to those seeking it.

(c) Act as a catalyst for social change, that enhances the experience of human dignity and participation within the community, area we serve.

(d) Provide Christmas baskets when funding is available without compromising the basic food pantry mission as identified in (b).

3.  The mission of the 29 Palms Community Food Pantry & Outreach Ministries, Inc., flows from our faith traditions of showing compassion in feeding the hungry.  The 29 Palms Community Food Pantry & Outreach Ministries, Inc., affirms the basic dignity of every human being.  

** At the present time we are not able to provide assistance with:  Utility bills, rental and mortgage assistance or hotel/motel stays.
